The City of Del Rio, Texas is in the path of totality for a Great American total solar eclipse taking place on April 8, 2024.  This is a historical event that will not be repeated until 2044. The total solar eclipse will trace a narrow path of totality across 13 U.S. states. Del Rio is one of the very first cities in the United States to experience the total solar eclipse.
